Celebrate Diversity Project partners with the United Way of Noble County and First Call for Help/United Way of Allen County to provide a bilingual 2-1-1 answer line and bilingual 2-1-1 Guide to Community Services in hardcopy book and CD formats.
2-1-1 is an easy to remember telephone information line service that is utilized to connect individuals and organizations with the resources and volunteer opportunities in our community that will help meet their needs.
“Every hour of every day, hundreds of people need essential human services - they are looking for training, employment, food pantries, help for an aging parent, addiction prevention programs for their teenage children, affordable housing options, support groups and ways of becoming part of their community. 2-1-1 allows people to give help and to get help.” (www.211.org)
2-1-1 listing services are free to the organization listing community services.
Individuals can access the listing by calling 2-1-1; online at www.firstcallinfo.org; by contacting the CDP office at 260-894-9078 for a hardcopy book or CD or by downloading the listing in pdf format from this website. (Link to pdf listing for 2-1-1 guide in English and Spanish)
